Our Firm's History
L. Guy Palmer is our firm's founding lawyer. Influenced by his father, a CEO, attorney Palmer determined early in life that accounting and taxation were major interests of his. After earning his bachelor's degree, he joined the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent and Instructor.
Attending the University of Detroit and University of Michigan allowed Attorney Palmer to become licensed to practice law in Michigan and join a prominent law firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also served as a tax procedure professor at the University of Michigan Law School. After spending time at a firm in Chicago, attorney Palmer relocated to Maryland with his family and formed Palmer Law Group LLC to specifically cater to clients with tax-related issues across the U.S.
Attorney Palmer is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, and the District of Columbia.
